Born to Run
Every year about 70 foreigners compete against Tarahumaras (Native American people of northwestern Mexico) in a 80 km long run – The Copper Canyon Ultramarathon, also called Caballo Blanco Ultramarathon.
It’s said to be one of the worlds most spectacular ultramarathons. The race is held every February in Urique, Mexico. This is the place the book “Born to Run”, by Christopher Mcdougall, is describing: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen.
